Kansas City rap artist Kutt Calhoun has released his song, “Handz Up (Shut Shit Down)” on Youtube, where the music video has received over 33,000 in just four days. The song is about police violence, and, more specifically, how the community might respond to the lack of justice in America if things do not change.
While some of the lyrics are highly controversial, the video ends with a positive message from Calhoun:
“If we don’t stand for something we’ll fall for anything. Everyone has guns, but cops have global authority, so be smart, do the right thing. United we stand and watch outcomes change. Let’s make a difference.” – Kutt Calhoun
